    Mountval Wool Wash 300 ml is a low foaming detergent for wool and wool blends. It is intended for merino wool, wool, cashmere, angora and mohair, and also for base layer shirts, leggings, sweaters, hats, socks and gloves. It washes at a low temperature, rinses out easily, and the proteins in the formula help to reduce pilling.

    Universal detergents with enzymes break down the wool fibre: a merino shirt felts, pills and loses its shape after a few washes, even when it is worn carefully. Mountval Wool Wash 300 ml is an enzyme free formula made for low temperature washing and easy rinsing. A limit: this is a detergent, it gives no water repellency, and the dose has to be taken from the product packaging.

    Wool items are safest dried flat, so that they do not stretch out. The product foams little, so it rinses out more easily than a universal detergent.

    • •Not suitable for down filled items. Mountval Down Wash 300 ml is made for a down fill.
    • •Do not use hot water or bleach. Wool shrinks and felts from them.
    • •It does not impregnate. The product washes, it gives no water repellency.
