How do you get rid of odour in boots, a helmet or thermal clothing?

- •Neutralisers are not detergents: they do not wash out dirt or stains, so first wash the item with a suitable detergent.
- •They are not disinfectants: they reduce odour but do not disinfect.
- •Silver Freshness is not compatible with fabric softener and does not go in the detergent compartment.
- •Do not use Helmet Clean & Fresh on expensive visors with anti-fog, mirrored or water repellent coatings without clear confirmation of compatibility. Do not spray on skin, eyes or mucous membranes.
Frequently asked questions
Does Silver Freshness go in together with the detergent?
Not in the same compartment. Put the detergent in the main wash compartment and 45 ml of Silver Freshness in the rinse compartment, so the product works during the rinse cycle. Do not use fabric softener.
How do I use Odour Absorber on boots?
Take out the insoles, spray them and the inside of the boots evenly, then leave them to dry and air. There is no need to spray heavily; repeat between full cleanings whenever the odour returns.
Is Helmet Clean & Fresh suitable for a motorcycle helmet?
Yes, for the textile helmet liner. Use the product on a visor only according to the label and after testing a small area, because visor coatings vary a lot.
Should I choose the 20 g sachet or the 315 ml bottle?
The sachet is for one wash and handy for travel or a first try. If you wash thermal clothing regularly, the 315 ml bottle works out cheaper: it lasts about seven rinses at 45 ml.
