Which care bundle should you choose?
Mountval care bundles combine two products that are used together: detergent and impregnation, cleaner and impregnation, or detergent and odour freshener. Each bundle consists of two separate factory packs. For a membrane jacket and waders, the bundle with Wash & Care and Waterproofing Refresher suits most people: both products are used in the same wash.

How to choose
Choose by what you are caring for. Suitable for: the clothing bundles for technical and membrane fabrics, the boot bundle for leather, suede, nubuck and membrane footwear, the merino bundle for wool. Not suitable for: fabric softener with the washing bundles, patent leather for the boot bundle. Check the care label for: temperature, programme, tumble drying and colourfastness.

- •The clothing bundles are not suitable for wool, merino and down: they have dedicated detergents. The merino bundle, in turn, is not suitable for membrane clothing.
- •The boot bundle is not suitable for patent leather, and oiled leather needs a greasing product after cleaning: Protector does not replace it.
- •No bundle makes an item waterproof or seals holes or seams: that is what repair products are for.
- •The odour control bundle is not a disinfectant and does not replace washing, and the washing bundles are not compatible with fabric softener.

Can the products in a bundle be used separately?
Yes. A bundle consists of two separate factory packs, not a mixed product, so you use each one according to its label and when you need it.
Do Wash & Care and Waterproofing Refresher go into the same wash?
Yes. Put 45 ml of Wash & Care in the main wash compartment and 75 ml of Waterproofing Refresher in the rinse or softener compartment; that is enough for up to two garments. You can also use two separate cycles.
Which bundle should I choose for waders?
The bundle for jacket and waders with Wash & Care and Waterproofing Refresher: it washes and restores water repellency in one cycle. If the coating still repels water, the Wash & Care double pack is enough.
How many washes does the Wash & Care double pack give?
Roughly 14, based on the manufacturer’s dose of 45 ml per cycle. The exact number depends on how many garments you wash at once: up to two per cycle.
