Which UV trousers should you choose for summer?
Finntrail UV trousers are light summer trousers in UPF 50 fabric that cover your legs from the sun while fishing, hiking or spending a day in a boat. How to choose
Both WAVE models have UPF 50 and dry quickly. They differ in how much the trousers need to withstand while you move.

What is the difference between WAVE 4605 and WAVE 4608?
Both models have UPF 50 and dry quickly. The WAVE 4608 description lists a stretch fabric, an anatomical cut and resistance to abrasion and tearing, which makes it the tougher choice for hiking and boating.
Are UV trousers suitable for women?
Yes, WAVE 4608 has a unisex cut that suits both men and women. Check your size in the Finntrail size guide, and if it is wrong you can exchange or return the trousers within 30 days.
Do UV trousers dry quickly when wet?
Yes. The fabric of both WAVE models is light and dries quickly, so they do not stay wet for long after splashes. Just remember these are not rain trousers: they will soak through in the rain.
Do UV trousers protect against insects?
No insect repellent finish is stated in the trouser descriptions. If mosquitoes bother you, pair the trousers with UV T-shirts that have such a finish, or with the 9803 or 9805 neck gaiter, which also protect from the sun.
