    Mountval Silver Freshness 315 ml is a freshener with nano-silver for textiles and equipment, used during the rinse. It is intended for base layer clothing, sports underwear, footwear and accessories where reducing unpleasant odour matters. It neutralises unpleasant odour and leaves a longer lasting feeling of freshness.

    What problem does it solve?

    Sports and base layer clothing often keeps a sweat odour even after washing, because the odour comes from substances left in the fibre, not from dirt. Mountval Silver Freshness 315 ml is used in the rinse cycle and is made exactly for neutralising that odour. An important limit: it is a freshener, not the main detergent and not a biocidal product, so we make no hygiene claims of that kind for it.

    When and on what should you use it?

    The product does not remove dirt that has soaked in, or stains. A dirty item has to be washed first with a suitable detergent.

    How do you use it step by step?

    Step 1

    Shake the bottle before use.

    Step 2

    In the machine pour 45 ml into the rinse compartment and choose a rinse programme.

    Step 3

    By hand: 45 ml in 10 litres of cold water.

    Step 4

    Soak for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Step 5

    Press the water out without wringing and hang the item to dry as the care label says.

    One 315 ml bottle is enough for about seven rinses of 45 ml. Fabric softener must not be used together with it.

    What is this product not suitable for?

    • •This is not the main detergent. It does not wash out dirt and stains, it works on odour.
    • •This is not a biocidal product. Without a separate biocidal authorisation we make no claim of that kind for it.
    • •Do not pour it into the detergent compartment. The product works in the rinse cycle.
    • •Not compatible with fabric softener. Softener coats the fibres and reduces the effect.

    How does it differ from the closest Mountval products?

    When it suits better

    • Spray-on odour product. A better fit for the inside of footwear and for surfaces you will not wash.
    • Freshener for helmets, hats and gloves. A better fit for linings that cannot be taken out.

    Does Mountval Silver Freshness replace a detergent?

    No. It is a freshener used in the rinse cycle. Dirt and stains are washed out by a separate detergent.

    Is the product a biocidal or a hygiene product?

    We make no claim of that kind. The product neutralises odour and contains nano-silver, but this is not a registered biocidal product.

    Where should the product be poured?

    Into the rinse compartment, 45 ml for one cycle. There is no need to pour it into the detergent compartment.

    How many rinses does one bottle cover?

    About seven, counting the 45 ml dose given by the manufacturer in a 315 ml bottle.

    Can I rinse by hand?
