FINNTRAIL Warranty and Product Exchange Conditions
FINNTRAIL technical clothing and footwear are designed for active use in fishing, off-road riding, snowmobile trips and other demanding outdoor conditions. The warranty applies to manufacturing and material defects caused by the manufacturer.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and only when the product is used for its intended purpose. To submit a warranty claim, a proof of purchase is required.
Warranty Period
FINNTRAIL products are covered by a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing workmanship and material defects, provided the product has been used for its intended purpose and properly maintained.
The warranty covers: manufacturing defects, seam defects, material defects or construction issues that are not related to normal wear, improper care or mechanical damage.30-Day Product Exchange
If the purchased product does not fit in size or model, you may request an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. The product must be unused, clean, with original tags and packaging.
Important: if the product has already been worn or used outdoors, size exchange may no longer apply. Therefore, the size should be checked before using the product. When Can a Warranty Claim Be Submitted?
A warranty claim may be submitted when a possible manufacturing or material defect is noticed. Before submitting a claim, it is recommended to assess whether the damage may be related to normal wear, mechanical impact or improper care.
Situation Can Warranty Apply? Manufacturing or material defect Yes, if the defect was not caused by improper use. Incorrect size Exchange is possible only for unused products according to the exchange conditions. Normal wear and tear Warranty does not apply. Mechanical damage Warranty usually does not apply unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed. How to Submit a Warranty Claim?
Before submitting a warranty claim, review the warranty conditions and prepare all required information. This helps assess the case faster and make a decision more efficiently.

- Take clear photos of the problem area close up and of the full product.
- Briefly describe when and under what conditions the defect was noticed.
- Specify how the product was used and maintained.

Recommendation: the clearer the photos and the more detailed the information, the faster the warranty case can be assessed. What Is Not Covered by Warranty?
The warranty does not apply to damage that is not caused by a manufacturing or material quality defect. Technical clothing is durable, but it is not indestructible — sharp rocks, branches, falls or improper use may damage the fabric.

Environmental impact Damage caused by fire, flooding, insects, rodents or other external factors. Chemicals and external contamination Burns, fabric degradation or stains caused by chemicals, fuel, oil or other substances. Cuts, punctures and abrasion Damage caused by sharp rocks, branches, hooks, tools or other mechanical factors. Improper care or storage Damage caused by incorrect washing, drying, storage or unsuitable care products. Self-made modifications or repairs Warranty may not apply if the product has been modified or repaired contrary to manufacturer recommendations. Normal wear and tear Natural wear of fabric, zippers, soles, seams or other parts during use. Incorrect size after use If the product has already been used, incorrect size is not considered a warranty case. Repair Kits and Minor Damage
Some FINNTRAIL products, such as waders or jackets, may include an adhesive repair kit designed for small punctures or minor damage.
Important: minor mechanical damage, such as punctures or cuts, is usually not considered a warranty case, but it can be repaired using suitable repair products. If you are unsure whether the damage is covered by warranty, contact customer service and provide photos of the issue.
How Is a Warranty Claim Assessed?
Each warranty claim is assessed individually. The assessment considers the type of defect, product usage conditions, care, submitted photos and purchase documents.
