When they shine
They perform best through an active off-road season, when you move a lot, run hot and face mud, spray and wind. The softshell fabric sheds moisture and wind, while perforated ventilation zones stop you overheating. These are not fully waterproof rain gear: for prolonged downpours, choose membrane rain pants instead.

3-layer Shellstretch fabric
A stretchy softshell fabric: an outer protective layer, a wind- and moisture-repellent membrane and an inner layer. It sheds water from outside, breathes and stretches with your body, so you move freely while riding.
RIPSTOP reinforcements
Reinforced zones at the knees, seat and lower legs in abrasion-resistant RIPSTOP fabric: the trousers last longer in the most exposed areas.
Removable foam knee pads
Cushioning foam inserts protect the knees from impacts during intensive riding. Easy to take out when not needed.
DWR finish
A thin water-repellent finish on the outer layer: mud and water bead and roll off, the fabric wets out less and dries faster.
Perforated ventilation zones
Perforated areas let air through and reduce overheating, so you stay drier inside when riding hard.
How they differ from a cheaper option
Care
Wash up to 30 °C with a detergent made for fleece and softshell (Mountval Polar Wash), without softener or bleach. When water stops beading, restore the water repellency with an impregnator (Mountval Textile Shield). Dry at room temperature, not on a radiator. Do not iron hot, so the fabric finish stays intact.

Are these trousers waterproof?
They are softshell trousers with a DWR finish and 5,000 mm water resistance: they repel mud, spray, wind and short rain, but they are not fully waterproof rain gear. For prolonged downpours, choose membrane rain pants instead.
Do they really not restrict movement on the quad?
Yes. The 3-layer Shellstretch fabric with Lycra panels stretches, so the trousers move with your body. An ergonomic cut and an adjustable waist keep you moving freely while riding.
Is there knee protection?
Yes, the trousers include removable foam knee pads for intensive riding. You can take them out when you don’t need them, and you must remove them before washing.
Do they breathe, or will I overheat?
They breathe: breathability is 5,000 g/m²/24h, and perforated ventilation zones let air circulate as well. You sweat and overheat less when riding hard.
Do they work with off-road boots?
Yes. The leg openings are adjustable, so you can fit the trousers to your boot height and width. The reinforced lower-leg zone protects the fabric from abrasion.

Measure Your Height

If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose according to how the pants will be used. For active outdoor use, the fabric should never feel tight across the waist, hips or knees.
- If your hips fall into a larger size category than your waist, choose according to your hip measurement.

Product Care Instructions
- Wash membrane clothing only with special detergents, such as Mountval Wash & Care, at a temperature no higher than 30 °C, without fabric softeners or bleach.
- After washing, restore water repellency using Mountval Waterproofing Refresher (wash-in) or a spray-on impregnation, following the product instructions.
- After impregnation, allow the product to dry naturally.
- Repair minor membrane damages with special glue, such as Aquaseal / Aquasure, only on clean and dry surfaces.
- Clean boots by hand, do not use a washing machine; if needed, use impregnation products designed for technical footwear.
Regular care helps maintain water repellency, breathability, and prolongs the product's lifespan.

- Delivery to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia is free of charge. Courier delivery to other EU countries: Poland €4.99, Germany €9.99, other EU countries €12.99. The final cost is shown at checkout before payment.
Returns

- Products can be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt.
- The returned item must be unused, with all tags attached and in the original packaging.
- Returns are free within Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. From other countries the return shipment is paid by the buyer.
- In Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, together with the notification about the delivered parcel you will receive a return code allowing you to return the item via any parcel locker.

Membrane fabric is usually described using two numbers, often separated by a slash: waterproofness and breathability. The first number indicates waterproofness, the second indicates breathability.

This is a sliding scale measured in mm that shows how high a column of water you can suspend over the membrane before it starts to let moisture through.
