Finntrail ENDURO Graphite 4610 Softshell Pants
Stretchy softshell pants for off-road riding that move with you and take on the trail mud. A 3-layer Shellstretch fabric with a DWR finish, RIPSTOP reinforcements and removable knee protection: protection from wind, moisture and mud that breathes and lets you move in the saddle.
Who they are for
Made for the ATV, UTV, buggy and motocross rider who needs stretchy, durable gear for active off-road riding.
- •ATV, UTV and buggy trails through mud, dust and thorny brush.
- •Motocross and enduro, where freedom of movement and knee protection matter.
- •Active riding that demands ventilation and abrasion resistance.
When they shine
They perform best in an active off-road season, on trails with mud, dust and light rain, where plain non-stretch pants restrict movement as you climb onto the machine or wear through at the knees.
Technical specs
Materials & technology
3-layer Shellstretch softshell fabric
A softshell build: an outer protective layer, a membrane (repels wind and moisture) and an inner layer. It stretches in every direction, so it never restricts you during active riding.
DWR finish
A thin water-repellent finish on the outer layer: moisture and mud bead and roll off, the fabric wets out less and cleans up more easily.
RIPSTOP reinforcements
Reinforced zones at the knees, seat and lower legs take the abrasion where ordinary gear wears through first.
Removable knee protection
Foam knee inserts add protection during intensive riding and lift out easily when you don’t need them.
Perforated ventilation zones
They improve air circulation so you overheat less during active riding.
How they differ from a cheaper option
Care
Wash up to 30 °C with a dedicated wash (e.g. Mountval Wash & Care), without softener or bleach. Remove the foam knee inserts before washing. Restore the water repellency (DWR) with Mountval Waterproofing Refresher. Dry naturally, not on a radiator. Repair minor damage with a dedicated adhesive (Aquaseal / Aquasure) on a clean, dry surface.
Frequently asked questions
Are they fully waterproof like rain pants?
These are softshell pants: the fabric repels moisture, mud and wind (5,000 mm water resistance), but it is not fully waterproof rain gear. For prolonged heavy rain you would want membrane rain pants.
Do they stretch and let me move freely?
Yes. The 3-layer Shellstretch fabric with elastane and Lycra inserts stretches in every direction, so you move freely on the machine and in demanding terrain.
Is there knee protection?
Yes. The pants have removable foam knee inserts for extra protection during intensive riding. They need to be removed before washing.
Do they breathe during active riding?
They breathe: breathability is 5,000 g/m²/24h, and the perforated ventilation zones further improve air circulation, so you overheat less.
How do I care for softshell pants?
Wash up to 30 °C with Mountval Wash & Care, then restore water repellency with Mountval Waterproofing Refresher and dry naturally. Proper care keeps the moisture repellency and breathability.

How to Choose the Correct FINNTRAIL Men's Pants Size
Choosing the correct pants size ensures comfort, freedom of movement and optimal performance during outdoor activities. Pants that are too small may feel tight around the waist or hips and restrict movement, while pants that are too large may slide down, interfere with walking and reduce overall comfort.
The FINNTRAIL size chart shows body measurements, not garment measurements. FINNTRAIL pants are designed with additional room for mobility, comfort and layering when needed.
Measure Your Height
Height is one of the key measurements when choosing men's pants, as it helps determine overall fit and leg length. Measure your height while standing upright without shoes.
How to measure: stand straight with your feet together and measure from the floor to the top of your head.Measure Your Waist
Measure your waist at its narrowest point or where you normally wear your pants. The measuring tape should fit comfortably around your body without being too tight.
Important: do not suck in your stomach or tighten the tape excessively. Pants should allow comfortable movement, sitting and layering.Measure Your Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips. This measurement is particularly important because pants should allow unrestricted movement while walking, climbing, sitting or engaging in outdoor activities.
Recommendation: if your hip measurement falls into a larger size than your waist measurement, choose the size according to your hips.Measure Your Inseam
Inseam is measured from the crotch down to the inside of the ankle. This measurement helps determine whether the pants will provide the proper leg length for your height.
If you plan to wear taller boots or use the pants for active outdoor activities, ensuring the correct inseam length is especially important.
How to Use the Size Chart
Measurement Description Height Body height in centimeters. Waist Waist circumference. Hips Hip circumference measured around the fullest part of the hips. Inseam Inside leg length from crotch to ankle. Start by checking your waist and hip measurements. Then confirm that the selected size matches your height and inseam. If one measurement falls into a larger size category, it is generally recommended to choose the larger size.

S M L XLStandard sizes for men with average body proportions.
MLExtended length size for taller users whose waist and hip measurements correspond to size M.
SK MK LK XLKWider sizes designed for larger waist and hip measurements.
XXL XXXLLarger sizes for taller or broader body types.
If You Are Between Two Sizes
If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose according to how the pants will be used. For active outdoor use, the fabric should never feel tight across the waist, hips or knees.
- If your hips fall into a larger size category than your waist, choose according to your hip measurement.
- If you plan to wear thermal layers underneath, allow extra room.
- If you are taller than average, pay special attention to inseam length.
- For active use, avoid choosing pants that fit too tightly.
Important: technical pants should not be overly tight. Fabric under constant tension wears faster, restricts movement and reduces overall comfort.Recommendation Before Ordering
Before ordering FINNTRAIL men's pants, measure your height, waist, hips and inseam accurately. Take measurements while wearing a thin base layer or clothing similar to what you plan to wear underneath the pants.
Best results: provide your height, waist circumference, hip circumference and inseam measurement. These measurements allow the most accurate FINNTRAIL size recommendation.Summary
To choose the correct FINNTRAIL men's pants size, the most important measurements are height, waist circumference, hip circumference and inseam length. The correct size ensures comfort, freedom of movement, effective layering and long-lasting performance.

Membrane waterproofing and breathability
Membrane fabric is usually described using two numbers, often separated by a slash: waterproofness and breathability. The first number indicates waterproofness, the second indicates breathability.
?Waterproofing
This is a sliding scale measured in mm that shows how high a column of water you can suspend over the membrane before it starts to let moisture through.
Waterproof Rating Conditions 0–10,000 mm Light rain, dry snow, light pressure. 11,000–15,000 mm Moderate rain, average snow, light pressure. 16,000–20,000 mm Heavy rain, wet snow, some pressure. 20,000 mm+ Heavy rain, wet snow, high pressure. ?Breathability
This is the amount of moisture by weight that can pass through one square metre of fabric over a period of 24 hours. It is commonly measured in g/m²/24 hrs.
Breathability Rating Level of Breathability 0–5,000 g/m²/24 hrs Low – light exercise. 5,000–15,000 g/m²/24 hrs Medium – medium to high energy activity. 15,000 g/m²/24 hrs+ High – vigorous sustained activity.
