Which waders should you choose for river fishing?
Fishing waders let you stand in a river current or lake shallows for as long as the fish are biting. This collection has chest-high models with neoprene socks, the waist-high RUNNER 1519, bootfoot models and the RACHEL line for women. If you wade often and move from pool to pool, the 20,000 mm WADEMAN 1524 with separate wading boots suits you best.

How to choose
First think about how many days a season you wade and how long you spend in the current. The longer you stand in the water, the more membrane margin is worth having.

- •When you sit in a boat all day: a rain suit or bib trousers from the rain suits category are more comfortable.
- •Wading deeper than chest height or into a strong current: water pours in over the top and fills the waders, so avoid such spots.
- •ENDURO BF 5281 or RACHEL BF 5300 if your shoe size falls between two numbers: you cannot swap the integrated boot separately.

Which waders are best for fly fishing?
PROGUIDE 1541 waders have a tool holder for fly fishing, a microfleece hand warmer pocket and a 25,000 mm membrane. A simpler choice is WADEMAN 1524 with a roomy chest pocket.
Are waist-high waders enough for a river?
In a shallow river where you wade up to your knees or thighs, RUNNER 1519 is enough and more comfortable on a hot day. If the river has deep pools or wash from boats, choose a chest-high model.
What should I wear under waders in summer?
Light synthetic trousers or thermal underwear that wick sweat away. Cotton trousers soak up moisture and take a long time to dry, so your legs get cold quickly in cool water.
Why is there a phone case with the waders?
When wading, your phone usually sits in the chest pocket, and it easily gets splashed when you cast. WADEMAN 1524, RACHEL 1520 and PROGUIDE 1541 come with a waterproof case, so you do not need to buy one separately.
How do I dry waders between two days of fishing?
Hang them by the D-rings or loops with the socks facing up, fold the top down so that the sweat inside dries too, and keep them away from heat sources. Most models have loops for this.
