Finntrail RACHEL BF Graphite 5300 Women’s Waders
Women’s bootfoot waders with integrated boots for fishing and the outdoors, built to keep you dry even standing in the water. A 4-layer HARD-TEX® membrane (20,000 mm) with a TEFLON® finish, integrated rubber boots with a neoprene lining, a waterproof chest pocket with a YKK zipper and reflective elements: reliable protection from water and mud that still breathes and lets you move. No need to choose boots separately, they are already built in.
Who they are for
Made for the angler and the active woman who wants reliable waders with integrated boots to wade into the water confidently and stay dry.
- •Fishing from the shore and wading, when you need to stay dry standing in the water.
- •The outdoors and off-road adventures, when there is a lot of mud and moisture.
- •The cooler season, when the neoprene boot lining keeps you warm.
When they shine
They perform best in a cool spring and autumn by the water, where cheap plastic waders leave you sweaty inside and the boots stay cold and slippery.
Technical specs
Materials & technology
HARD-TEX® 4-layer membrane
A microporous membrane with billions of pores smaller than a water drop and larger than a vapour molecule: it stops water from outside yet lets sweat vapour escape, so you don’t overheat.
TEFLON® finish
A water- and dirt-repellent finish on the outer fabric: protects from water, mud, oil and stains while keeping the colour and breathability.
Integrated boots with a neoprene lining
Rubber boots joined to the waders (bootfoot): no need to choose boots separately, and the neoprene lining keeps heat in when standing in the water.
Waterproof chest pocket (YKK)
A reliable YKK zipper and a waterproof chest pocket: your phone and documents stay dry even by the water.
How they differ from a cheaper option
Care
Hand wash up to 30 °C with a dedicated membrane wash (e.g. Mountval Wash & Care), without softener or bleach. Restore the water repellency (TEFLON® / DWR) with Mountval Waterproofing Refresher. Dry naturally, not on a radiator. Rinse the boots after fishing and dry them well. Repair minor membrane damage with a dedicated adhesive (Aquaseal / Aquasure) on a clean, dry surface.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to choose boots separately?
No. The boots are already built into the waders (bootfoot construction): rubber, with a neoprene lining. You only choose the garment size and the boot size (38, 39 or 40).
Do these waders breathe, or will I sweat?
They breathe: breathability is 7,000 g/m²/24h. The HARD-TEX® membrane lets sweat vapour out while keeping water off from outside, so you stay dry inside even when active.
What is the waterproof rating?
The membrane is 4-layer HARD-TEX®, water resistance 20,000 mm, breathability 7,000 g/m²/24h, surface treated with a TEFLON® finish that repels water and mud.
Are these women’s waders?
Yes, these are women’s waders with an anatomical women’s cut and adjustable suspenders, made for the angler and the active woman.
Will my feet get cold standing in the water?
The integrated boots have a neoprene lining that retains heat, so your feet stay warm even when standing longer in cool water. For the cold season we recommend warmer socks.

Water resistance20 000 mmHow to choose the right FINNTRAIL women’s wader size?
The correct women’s wader size is essential for comfort, freedom of movement and reliable protection when moving through water, mud or difficult weather conditions.
The size chart shows body measurements, not the actual garment dimensions. FINNTRAIL waders are designed with extra room for base layers and unrestricted movement.
Measure your hips
The first important measurement is the hip circumference. Measure around the widest part of your hips without pulling the measuring tape too tight.
Tip: if your measurement falls between two sizes, the larger size is usually more comfortable for active use.Measure your inseam
The inseam is measured from the crotch to the inside of the ankle. This measurement helps determine whether the wader length will match your height.
Important: choose the size not only by height, but also by waist / hip circumference and inseam length.Women’s wader size chart in centimetres

Measurement Description Height Body height in centimetres. Waist / Hips Body circumference measured around the widest part of the waist or hips. Inseam Length from the crotch to the inside of the ankle. Sock length Neoprene sock length in centimetres. First select the size according to your waist / hip circumference, then check whether your height and inseam match the recommended range.
What do the size markings mean?
XXS XS SSmaller sizes for shorter height and smaller body circumference.
M LStandard sizes for women with an average body build.
SQ MQWider sizes for a larger waist or hip circumference.
XL XXLLarger sizes for taller height and larger body circumference.
Recommendation
If your measurements fall between two sizes, it is usually recommended to choose the larger size. This provides more room for thermal layers, improves freedom of movement and reduces stress on the seams and membrane.

Membrane waterproofing and breathability
Membrane fabric is usually described using two numbers, often separated by a slash: waterproofness and breathability. The first number indicates waterproofness, the second indicates breathability.
?Waterproofing
This is a sliding scale measured in mm that shows how high a column of water you can suspend over the membrane before it starts to let moisture through.
Waterproof Rating Conditions 0–10,000 mm Light rain, dry snow, light pressure. 11,000–15,000 mm Moderate rain, average snow, light pressure. 16,000–20,000 mm Heavy rain, wet snow, some pressure. 20,000 mm+ Heavy rain, wet snow, high pressure. ?Breathability
This is the amount of moisture by weight that can pass through one square metre of fabric over a period of 24 hours. It is commonly measured in g/m²/24 hrs.
Breathability Rating Level of Breathability 0–5,000 g/m²/24 hrs Low – light exercise. 5,000–15,000 g/m²/24 hrs Medium – medium to high energy activity. 15,000 g/m²/24 hrs+ High – vigorous sustained activity.
