Materials & technology
HARD-TEX® 2.5-layer membrane
A breathable membrane is waterproof and windproof (water resistance 12,000 mm, breathability 8,000 g/m²/24h) and vents sweat vapour outward, so you stay dry when riding actively. Seams are fully taped and the surface has a water-repellent DWR finish.
Uninsulated shell for layering
The suit has no insulation, and that is by design: you set the warmth yourself with base layers, for example a Finntrail base layer, so you can regulate warmth to the weather and avoid overheating as you move.
Cordura reinforcements
Extra-tough Cordura panels on the knees, seat, inner seams and lower legs withstand heavy use on a snowmobile and ATV, so the suit lasts longer.
One-piece snow protection
The one-piece cut, integrated snow gaiters, drop-seat, high collar with microfleece lining and cuffs with thumb holes keep snow out and hold the suit in place.
How it differs from an ordinary winter suit
Care
Wash up to 30 °C with a dedicated membrane wash (Mountval Wash & Care), without softener or bleach: ordinary detergent clogs the membrane. When water stops beading, restore the water repellency (DWR) with an impregnator (Mountval Textile Shield). Dry naturally, not on a radiator or in the sun. Out of season store it dry and on a hanger, not compressed.

Choosing the correct snowmobile gear size is important for comfort, freedom of movement, heat retention, and protection against snow, wind, and moisture. Gear that is too small may restrict movement and feel tight when worn with base and insulation layers, while gear that is too large may reduce heat retention and make active movement less comfortable.

Measure Your Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape horizontal. Stand straight and keep the tape close to the body, but not tight.
How to measure: measure around the widest part of your chest while breathing normally and keeping your body relaxed.Measure Your Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist or where you naturally wear your pants. This measurement is especially important for pants and bibs, so the gear does not restrict movement while sitting, bending, or riding actively.
Important: do not pull in your stomach or tighten the measuring tape too much. Snowmobile gear should leave enough room for base and insulation layers.Measure Your Hips and Largest Girth
Measure your hips around the widest part. Also check your largest body girth — this may be the chest, stomach, or hips, depending on body shape.
Main rule: if one measurement falls into a larger size, choose the size according to your largest body girth. This helps prevent tightness and restricted movement.Measure Your Inseam and Arm Length
Inseam is measured from the crotch to the inside of the ankle. Arm length helps determine whether the jacket sleeves will properly cover your arms during movement and when wearing gloves.

If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider how you will use the gear. For active movement and layering, it is usually better to choose a size that does not create tension in the fabric.

- If you will use the gear actively, make sure it does not restrict knees, shoulders, or arms.

Product Care Instructions
- Wash membrane clothing only with special detergents, such as Mountval Wash & Care, at a temperature no higher than 30 °C, without fabric softeners or bleach.
- After washing, restore water repellency using Mountval Waterproofing Refresher (wash-in) or a spray-on impregnation, following the product instructions.
- After impregnation, allow the product to dry naturally.
- Repair minor membrane damages with special glue, such as Aquaseal / Aquasure, only on clean and dry surfaces.
- Clean boots by hand, do not use a washing machine; if needed, use impregnation products designed for technical footwear.
Regular care helps maintain water repellency, breathability, and prolongs the product's lifespan.
