Will membrane trousers get hot on a long walk?
Less so if you choose more breathable ones: OUTDOOR 1310 and OUTDOOR W 1312 let out 10,000 g/m²/24h, so your legs get less damp from sweat. EXPERT 4602 is tougher but breathes less, 7,000 g/m²/24h.
Which trousers should I choose for mushroom picking in the morning dew?
Choose OUTDOOR 1310: these light membrane trousers keep out dew and wet grass, and once the sun has dried the forest they pack into your backpack. If you often push through thickets and stumps, the tougher EXPERT 4602.
How does OUTDOOR W 1312 differ from OUTDOOR 1310?
The membrane figures are the same: rated at 12,000 mm and letting out 10,000 g/m²/24h. The difference is the cut: OUTDOOR W 1312 is made for a women’s figure, in sizes from XXS to XXL.
Are the rain trousers visible after dark?
Yes, OUTDOOR 1310 and OUTDOOR W 1312 have 3M reflectors, and EXPERT 4602 has reflective details. That helps when you walk back from the forest along the roadside in the evening or move around camp in the dark.
