Suit Finntrail ATLAS W Pink 3460
A women's winter suit with a HARD-TEX membrane and Thermalrate insulation, rated down to minus 20 °C. The set includes an insulated jacket and bib trousers cut for a woman's figure. The membrane keeps snow and wind out, and fully taped seams stop moisture from entering through the joints. Sizes XS, S and M.
Who it is for
Made for snowmobile riding, ice fishing and long hours outdoors, when you move little and the cold is serious.
- •For snowmobile riders and passengers, where wind chills faster than the thermometer suggests.
- •For ice fishing, when you sit still for hours.
- •For everyday time outdoors in the cold: the yard, the lake, a winter event.

Warm where you do not move
Thermalrate insulation holds heat even when you sit still. That is exactly where Suit Finntrail ATLAS W 3460 shows its difference, not while moving.
Membrane against wind and wet snow
The HARD-TEX membrane with 12 000 mm resistance and fully taped seams stops wet snow from reaching the inner layer.
Snow skirt and adjustable hem
The snow skirt keeps snow from entering from below, and the adjustable hem holds the jacket in place while riding.
Reinforced wear zones
The seat and lower legs use a tougher fabric, so the saddle and boot edges wear the bib down more slowly.
3M reflective tape
Winter gets dark early. Reflective tape helps you be seen at dusk and in snow.
Who it is not for
Suit Finntrail ATLAS W 3460 is not thin gear for active sport. During intense movement, such as climbing or running, the insulation will be too warm and sweat will build up. For that use, an uninsulated membrane layer with a separate base layer is a better choice. The stated minus 20 °C limit is a guide: it depends on wind, movement and base layers, not on the thermometer alone.
How it differs from the closest models
ATLAS W jacket 3461 The same line, jacket only. A better fit when you already own the lower part. ATLAS W bib 4613 Lower part only. A better fit when replacing worn bib trousers. RACHEL 3853 A one piece overall. A better fit when keeping snow out at the waist matters most. Care
Wash at 30 °C with liquid detergent, no softener, with all zippers closed. Dry hanging or flat. When water stops beading on the surface, refresh the DWR with Mountval Waterproofing Refresher 300 ml and wash with Mountval Wash & Care 315 ml.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really warm down to minus 20 °C?
The figure is given for calm time outdoors with a suitable base layer underneath. Strong wind and complete stillness reduce it, so for ice fishing add a thicker inner layer.
Can I buy the jacket only?
Yes. The same line is sold separately: jacket ATLAS W 3461 and bib trousers ATLAS W 4613.
How do I choose the size?
The suit is cut to fit over a base layer, so there is no need to size up. If you are between sizes, take the larger one so a warm base layer fits.
Is it suitable for ice fishing?
Yes, that is one of its main purposes. When sitting still, the Thermalrate insulation and snow skirt work at their best.

Water resistance12 000 mmHow to choose the right FINNTRAIL women's snowmobile gear size?
Choosing the correct snowmobile gear size is essential for comfort, warmth retention and unrestricted movement while riding in winter conditions.
The size chart shows body measurements, not the actual garment dimensions. FINNTRAIL gear is designed with additional room for thermal base layers and unrestricted movement during active riding.
Measure your chest
Chest circumference should be measured around the fullest part of the chest while keeping the measuring tape horizontal and comfortably fitted.
Tip: take measurements while wearing light clothing to achieve the most accurate result.Measure your waist
Waist circumference should be measured around the narrowest part of your waist. This measurement is important for achieving the correct fit.
Measure your hips
Hip circumference should be measured around the fullest part of your hips. This measurement is particularly important when selecting women's apparel.
Measure your inseam
Inseam length is measured from the crotch to the inside of the ankle. This measurement helps determine the correct overall or pant length.
Important: if your height falls between size ranges, we recommend also checking sleeve and inseam measurements.Women's snowmobile gear size chart in centimetres

Measurement Description Height Body height in centimetres. Chest Chest circumference measured around the fullest part. Waist Waist circumference measured around the narrowest part. Hips Hip circumference measured around the fullest part. Inseam Length from the crotch to the inside of the ankle. Sleeve Arm length measured from shoulder to wrist. We recommend selecting your size primarily according to chest and hip measurements, then verifying that your height, sleeve length and inseam correspond to the recommended range.
What do the size designations mean?
XXS XS SSmaller sizes designed for shorter height and a slimmer body shape.
M LStandard sizes for women with an average body build.
SQ MQWider sizes for larger chest, waist or hip measurements.
XL XXLLarger sizes for taller women and larger body measurements.
Recommendation
If your measurements fall between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size. This provides additional room for thermal layers, improves freedom of movement and ensures maximum comfort and protection while riding a snowmobile.

Membrane waterproofing and breathability
Membrane fabric is usually described using two numbers, often separated by a slash: waterproofness and breathability. The first number indicates waterproofness, the second indicates breathability.
?Waterproofing
This is a sliding scale measured in mm that shows how high a column of water you can suspend over the membrane before it starts to let moisture through.
Waterproof Rating Conditions 0–10,000 mm Light rain, dry snow, light pressure. 11,000–15,000 mm Moderate rain, average snow, light pressure. 16,000–20,000 mm Heavy rain, wet snow, some pressure. 20,000 mm+ Heavy rain, wet snow, high pressure. ?Breathability
This is the amount of moisture by weight that can pass through one square metre of fabric over a period of 24 hours. It is commonly measured in g/m²/24 hrs.
Breathability Rating Level of Breathability 0–5,000 g/m²/24 hrs Low – light exercise. 5,000–15,000 g/m²/24 hrs Medium – medium to high energy activity. 15,000 g/m²/24 hrs+ High – vigorous sustained activity.
