Finntrail COOLMAX Pink 3205 Socks
Light functional socks with Coolmax fibre for active leisure, the outdoors and everyday wear. They wick moisture away from the foot and dry fast, so your foot stays dry even during intense movement. The Coolmax fibre pulls sweat off the skin to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates quickly, while the breathable construction lets the foot breathe. The elastic knit adapts to the foot and stays in place, reinforced heel and toe zones take the wear, and the light structure is barely felt inside your shoe. These are cooling, moisture-managing socks for the warm season and active use, not a warm woollen layer.
Who it is for
Made for intense movement and the warm season, when it matters that your foot stays dry and cool and the sock keeps its place.
- •For active leisure and outdoor use in the warm season.
- •For everyday wear, when you want a dry, cool foot.
- •For sport and intense movement, when the foot sweats.
When it shines
Best on a warm day and during intense movement, when the foot sweats: the Coolmax fibre wicks moisture away, the fabric dries fast, and reinforced zones protect against wear. These are cooling socks; they give no warmth.
Technical specs
Materials & technology
Coolmax moisture management
The synthetic Coolmax fibre pulls sweat off the skin to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates quickly, so the foot stays dry and cool. It is a cooling, moisture-managing feature, not warm wool.
Breathable, elastic construction
The breathable fabric lets the foot breathe, and the elastic knit adapts to the foot and stays in place, so the sock does not slide down or wrinkle in the shoe.
Reinforced zones
The heel and toe zones are reinforced to take the greatest wear. That is exactly where plain socks wear through first, so the reinforcement extends the life of the socks.
How they differ from plain socks
Care
Wash cool, up to 40° on a gentle setting, without fabric softener to keep the moisture management, and without bleach. After an active day, wash them soon so the fabric lasts longer. Dry at room temperature, not on a radiator and out of direct sun.
Frequently asked questions
Are these warm, winter socks?
No. These are cooling Coolmax socks for the warm season and active use. Their purpose is to wick moisture and keep your foot dry and cool; they give no warmth. For the cold, choose woollen Merino socks.
How does the Coolmax fibre work?
Coolmax is a synthetic fibre that pulls sweat off the skin to the surface of the fabric, where it evaporates quickly. So your foot stays drier and cooler even during intense movement.
Do the socks stay up?
The elastic fabric adapts to the foot and stays in place, so the sock does not slide down or wrinkle inside the shoe.

Membrane waterproofing and breathability
Membrane fabric is usually described using two numbers, often separated by a slash: waterproofness and breathability. The first number indicates waterproofness, the second indicates breathability.
?Waterproofing
This is a sliding scale measured in mm that shows how high a column of water you can suspend over the membrane before it starts to let moisture through.
Waterproof Rating Conditions 0–10,000 mm Light rain, dry snow, light pressure. 11,000–15,000 mm Moderate rain, average snow, light pressure. 16,000–20,000 mm Heavy rain, wet snow, some pressure. 20,000 mm+ Heavy rain, wet snow, high pressure. ?Breathability
This is the amount of moisture by weight that can pass through one square metre of fabric over a period of 24 hours. It is commonly measured in g/m²/24 hrs.
Breathability Rating Level of Breathability 0–5,000 g/m²/24 hrs Low – light exercise. 5,000–15,000 g/m²/24 hrs Medium – medium to high energy activity. 15,000 g/m²/24 hrs+ High – vigorous sustained activity.
