Which socks should you wear in snowmobile boots?

What should I do if my socks got damp during the day?
Change into a dry pair at a stop, because a damp sock keeps you less warm. Merino wool wicks moisture better than cotton, but after heavy digging a dry pair is the fastest way to warm up again.
Can these socks also be worn on a winter hike on foot?
Yes, they are made for outdoor activities and hikes in hard frost, not just for snowmobiling. On a warmer day they may be too warm for hiking; then choose thinner socks from the accessories section.
