Finntrail BLIZZARD GraphiteYellow 5226 Snow Boots

Top-tier warm snowmobile boots with a removable inner boot and reinforced toe protection, built for long rides in hard cold. A HARD-TEX® membrane keeps out water and wind, Cotton Insulation (1,200 g) with an extra HighLoft insole holds the heat, and a sole of rubber and non-freezing composite keeps grip on icy ground.

    Who it is for

Made for intensive winter use in hard cold, when you need more warmth, protection and stability than ordinary winter boots give.

    • For long snowmobile rides in extreme conditions.
    • For ice fishing and long hours on the ice.
    • For the active winter outdoors, where foot warmth and protection matter.

    When it shines

Best on long winter trips and in the sharpest cold: when you spend a lot of time outside or on a snowmobile and your foot must stay warm, dry and protected. The extra HighLoft insole adds warmth from below.

    Materials & technology

    Two-layer warmth

Cotton Insulation (1,200 g) in the removable inner boot plus a separate HighLoft insole holds heat in sharp cold, and the inner boot is easy to take out and dry for the next time.

    HARD-TEX® membrane

A breathable membrane keeps out water and wind and vents moisture from inside, so your foot stays dry and warm on snow and wet ground.

    Non-freezing sole

The sole is mostly rubber with a composite polymer layer that does not freeze or harden in the cold; a special tread keeps grip on ice and snow, and an EVA layer adds cushioning and warmth.

    Protection and support

Reinforced rubber toe protection guards against impacts and wear, while Achilles and ankle support with a rear pull loop gives stability and eases putting the boots on.

How it differs from ordinary snow boots

    Ordinary snow boots

    • Single-layer insulation, cold through quickly
    • One-piece inside, hard to dry
    • Sole stiffens and slips in the cold
    • Unprotected toes, quick to wear

    Finntrail BLIZZARD

    • Cotton 1,200 g + HighLoft insole
    • Removable inner boot, easy to dry
    • Sole of rubber and non-freezing composite
    • Reinforced rubber toe protection

    Care

After use, rinse off mud with clean water; if heavily soiled, clean with a soft brush and do not machine wash. Take out the inner boot and dry it at room temperature, not on a radiator or by a fire: high heat damages the materials and the membrane. Store in a dry, ventilated place.

    Frequently asked questions

How is the Blizzard better than ordinary winter boots?

The Blizzard has two-layer warmth (Cotton Insulation 1,200 g plus a separate HighLoft insole), reinforced rubber toe protection and a sole with non-freezing composite, so it holds heat and grip better on long winter trips than ordinary boots.

How much cold do these boots handle?

The maker states they are built for hard winter cold (rated down to −75 °C with a suitable inner boot and a warm sock). In real use, a lot depends on your socks, movement and whether you stand still for a long time.

    Are the boots waterproof?

Yes. The HARD-TEX® membrane keeps out water and wind, and your foot stays dry on snow, slush and wet ground. It is a breathable membrane, so moisture from inside is vented out.

Does the sole grip and stay flexible in the cold?

The sole is mostly rubber with an added composite polymer layer that does not freeze or harden in the cold, and a special tread keeps grip on ice and snow. An EVA layer adds cushioning and warmth.

    What size should I choose?

Winter boots are worn with a warm sock, so choose your usual size; if you plan a thick wool sock, you can go one size up. Sizes 42–44 are available. If unsure, message us and we will help.

    What about warranty and returns?

We offer a 2-year warranty, you can return within 30 days, and delivery from our Vilnius warehouse is free with a tracking number.
