Which jacket should you wear on a quad in rain and wind?
ATV jackets in this part of the collection come in three membrane models for different kinds of riding. APEX 4027 is made for active riding: it has ventilation, reinforced areas and withstands 15,000 mm. How to choose
Choose by what you do most: ride, stand or wade. All three jackets have a HARD-TEX membrane, but they differ in length and waterproof margin: DryCoat 4020 withstands 10,000 mm, MUDWAY 2010 as much as 17,000 mm.

- •Cold without insulation. None of these jackets is insulated; in winter wear warm layers under them.
- •Fast riding over obstacles in DryCoat 4020. The long coat is made for stops, and the shorter APEX is more comfortable when riding.
- •Your legs. A jacket covers only your upper body; against mud from the wheels you need rain trousers or bib trousers.
Frequently asked questions
Which APEX colour is easier to see in the forest?
The red APEX 4027 Red stands out most among the trees and at dusk. Khaki and GreyGreen are more subdued and are chosen by those who ride their quad to hunting or fishing. The construction is the same in every colour.
Is APEX 4027 also suitable for fishing in waders?
Yes, the manufacturer also lists it for wading together with waders. Still, for frequent fords MUDWAY 2010, with its integrated belt, high collar and waterproof chest pockets, is more convenient.
Can DryCoat be worn over a jacket?
Yes. The manufacturer designs DryCoat 4020 to be worn on top, so you throw it over a jacket or warm layer. Choose the size with the clothing you will wear it over.
Why does APEX need ventilation if the jacket keeps out rain?
On a bumpy stretch your body works and warms up, and the membrane lets out only part of the sweat. The ventilation releases excess heat, so there is less moisture under the jacket when you stop.
