Insulated suit Finntrail TOURNAMENT INSULATED Graphite 3755
A two piece winter fishing suit with a Toray membrane (2.5 layer), 20 000 mm water resistance, 10 000 g/m²/24h breathability and DuPont Sorona insulation. The Finntrail TOURNAMENT INSULATED Graphite 3755 is built for long hours on the ice, where you move little and the cold creeps in slowly. DuPont Sorona insulation holds warmth even when you sit still, the Toray membrane with a DWR finish keeps moisture out, and the knees, seat and lower legs are reinforced because that is where wear is highest. A high microfleece collar, an adjustable hood and snow gaiters close the gaps where cold finds its way in.
Who it is for
Made for ice fishing and long spells in the cold, when there is little movement but many hours outside.
- •Ice fishing, where you sit for hours.
- •Active winter days in damp and windy conditions.
- •Anyone who needs a warm, durable suit rather than a light rain set.
When it works best
Best on a cold day with little movement: Sorona insulation holds warmth while seated, 20 000 mm water resistance handles wet snow, and 10 000 g/m²/24h breathability lets sweat out when you walk over to drill a hole.
Technical data
Materials and technologies
DuPont Sorona insulation
Sorona insulation holds warmth even when there is almost no movement. That is what matters most in ice fishing, where the cold arrives not at once but after an hour of sitting.
Toray membrane, 2.5 layer, with DWR
The membrane holds water and wind out, and 10 000 g/m²/24h breathability lets sweat vapour escape when you walk or drill. The DWR finish stops the face fabric soaking up water, and over time it is renewed with an impregnator.
Reinforced wear zones
Knees, seat and lower legs are reinforced, because on ice you kneel, sit and walk in cleats. That is why the Finntrail TOURNAMENT INSULATED 3755 lasts longer than an ordinary winter set.
How it differs from the TOURNAMENT 3470
Care
Wash up to 30 °C with a membrane detergent (Mountval Wash & Care), without softener or bleach: ordinary detergent clogs the membrane. When water stops beading, restore the water repellency (DWR) with an impregnator (Mountval Textile Shield). Dry naturally, not on a radiator or in the sun. Out of season store it dry and hanging, not compressed.
Frequently asked questions
What makes the TOURNAMENT INSULATED 3755 better for ice fishing?
It has DuPont Sorona insulation, which holds warmth even when you sit without moving. Reinforced knees and seat take kneeling and sitting on ice, and the snow gaiters keep snow out of your boots.
How is it different from the TOURNAMENT 3470?
The TOURNAMENT 3470 is a snowmobile suit with a 4 layer HARD-TEX membrane and 7 000 g/m²/24h breathability. The TOURNAMENT INSULATED 3755 has a Toray membrane, 10 000 g/m²/24h breathability and Sorona insulation, so it suits seated fishing better.
What temperature is it made for?
There is no specific temperature rating for this suit, so we do not quote a number. On the ice, wind and what you wear underneath matter more: a thermal layer changes the feel more than the suit itself.
Is it waterproof?
Water resistance is 20 000 mm, the membrane is Toray and the face fabric has a DWR finish, so wet snow and rain stay outside. When water stops beading, the DWR is renewed with an impregnator.
Is the suit adjustable?
Yes. The braces and hood adjust and the high microfleece collar protects the neck. There are many pockets, including ones you can reach without taking your gloves off.

How to Choose the Correct FINNTRAIL Men’s Snowmobile Gear Size
Choosing the correct snowmobile gear size is important for comfort, freedom of movement, heat retention, and protection against snow, wind, and moisture. Gear that is too small may restrict movement and feel tight when worn with base and insulation layers, while gear that is too large may reduce heat retention and make active movement less comfortable.
The FINNTRAIL snowmobile gear size chart shows body measurements, not garment measurements. The gear is designed with extra room for comfort, movement, and proper layering in cold weather.
Measure Your Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape horizontal. Stand straight and keep the tape close to the body, but not tight.
How to measure: measure around the widest part of your chest while breathing normally and keeping your body relaxed.Measure Your Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your waist or where you naturally wear your pants. This measurement is especially important for pants and bibs, so the gear does not restrict movement while sitting, bending, or riding actively.
Important: do not pull in your stomach or tighten the measuring tape too much. Snowmobile gear should leave enough room for base and insulation layers.Measure Your Hips and Largest Girth
Measure your hips around the widest part. Also check your largest body girth — this may be the chest, stomach, or hips, depending on body shape.
Main rule: if one measurement falls into a larger size, choose the size according to your largest body girth. This helps prevent tightness and restricted movement.Measure Your Inseam and Arm Length
Inseam is measured from the crotch to the inside of the ankle. Arm length helps determine whether the jacket sleeves will properly cover your arms during movement and when wearing gloves.
These measurements are especially important for taller users or people with non-standard proportions. If your girths match one size but your height or limb length matches another, consider longer or wider size options.
How to Use the Size Chart
Measurement Description Height Body height in centimeters. Chest Chest circumference measured around the fullest part of the chest. Waist Waist circumference. Hips Hip circumference measured around the widest part of the hips. Largest Girth The largest body circumference — chest, stomach, or hips. Inseam Inside leg length from crotch to ankle. Arm Length Sleeve / arm length. First, check your girth measurements: chest, waist, hips, and largest body girth. Then confirm whether the selected size also matches your height, inseam, and arm length.

If You Are Between Two Sizes
If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider how you will use the gear. For active movement and layering, it is usually better to choose a size that does not create tension in the fabric.
- If warmth and layering are the priority, choose the larger size.
- If you will use the gear actively, make sure it does not restrict knees, shoulders, or arms.
- If height matches one size but girths match another, prioritize the largest body girth.
- If you will wear a thicker insulation layer, leave additional space.
Important: snowmobile gear should not fit like everyday clothing. It must allow space for base layers, insulation, air gap, and unrestricted movement.Recommendation Before Ordering
Before ordering FINNTRAIL snowmobile gear, measure your main body parameters and compare them with the chart. Take measurements while wearing a thin base layer or clothing similar to what you will actually wear under the gear.
Best result: provide your height, chest, waist, hips, and largest body girth. If possible, also include inseam and arm length.Summary
To choose the correct FINNTRAIL men’s snowmobile gear size, the most important measurements are height, chest circumference, waist circumference, hips, largest body girth, inseam, and arm length. A correctly selected size ensures warmth, freedom of movement, comfortable layering, and effective protection in winter conditions.

Membrane waterproofing and breathability
Membrane fabric is usually described using two numbers, often separated by a slash: waterproofness and breathability. The first number indicates waterproofness, the second indicates breathability.
?Waterproofing
This is a sliding scale measured in mm that shows how high a column of water you can suspend over the membrane before it starts to let moisture through.
Waterproof Rating Conditions 0–10,000 mm Light rain, dry snow, light pressure. 11,000–15,000 mm Moderate rain, average snow, light pressure. 16,000–20,000 mm Heavy rain, wet snow, some pressure. 20,000 mm+ Heavy rain, wet snow, high pressure. ?Breathability
This is the amount of moisture by weight that can pass through one square metre of fabric over a period of 24 hours. It is commonly measured in g/m²/24 hrs.
Breathability Rating Level of Breathability 0–5,000 g/m²/24 hrs Low – light exercise. 5,000–15,000 g/m²/24 hrs Medium – medium to high energy activity. 15,000 g/m²/24 hrs+ High – vigorous sustained activity.
