A lightweight 100% cotton cap with a curved brim and a breathable mesh back panel, made for the warm season outdoors and in town. The Finntrail CAP Grey 9611 shades your eyes from bright sun with a curved brim, while the mesh back panel lets air through, so your head does not overheat while fishing or walking a trail. The hook-and-loop closure at the back fits the cap to your head size, so one size covers most adults. The Grey colourway is a grey camo pattern with blue accents. This is an everyday summer cap, not rain or cold weather protection.

100% cotton fabric
A high durability grade of cotton absorbs sweat and does not cling to your forehead on a hot day the way synthetics do. A simple thing, but it matters for a cap that touches the skin all day.
Breathable mesh back panel
The mesh at the back releases heat and moisture, so your head does not overheat in the sun or during activity. That is exactly why the Finntrail CAP Grey 9611 suits summer fishing and hiking rather than cold weather.
Curved brim
The curved brim shades your eyes from direct sun and from glare reflected off the water. In fishing the eyes tire first, so the shape of the brim shows within an hour.
Adjustable hook-and-loop closure

How it differs from a plain cap
Care
Hand wash, or use a gentle cycle up to 30 °C with a mild detergent (Mountval Wash & Care), without bleach or softener. Sweat odour, which sinks in fastest around the head, is handled by a rinse-cycle freshener (Mountval Silver Freshness). Do not bend the brim, do not tumble dry and keep the cap off the radiator: cotton shrinks with heat. Dry it flat, away from direct sun so the colour does not fade.

Is the Finntrail CAP Grey 9611 waterproof?
No. It is a 100% cotton cap with no membrane, so it soaks through in rain. For wet weather choose the membrane caps WATERPROOFCAP 9621 or HAT WATERPROOF 9714.
What size is it?
One size for adults. The hook-and-loop closure at the back adjusts the cap to your head size. The manufacturer does not state head circumference in centimetres.
Will my head sweat on a hot day?
The back panel is mesh, so air moves through and heat escapes. The front is 100% cotton, which absorbs sweat and does not cling to the skin the way synthetics do.
Can I wear it in winter?
No, it is made for the warm season. The mesh back panel lets wind through and there is no insulation in the cap. For winter choose an insulated hat such as TERRA 2950.
How do I wash a cotton cap?
Hand wash or use a gentle cycle up to 30 °C with a mild detergent, without bleach, and dry it flat. Hot water and a tumble dryer shrink cotton, and the brim does not like being bent.

Product Care Instructions
- Wash membrane clothing only with special detergents, such as Mountval Wash & Care, at a temperature no higher than 30 °C, without fabric softeners or bleach.
- After washing, restore water repellency using Mountval Waterproofing Refresher (wash-in) or a spray-on impregnation, following the product instructions.
- After impregnation, allow the product to dry naturally.
- Repair minor membrane damages with special glue, such as Aquaseal / Aquasure, only on clean and dry surfaces.
- Clean boots by hand, do not use a washing machine; if needed, use impregnation products designed for technical footwear.
Regular care helps maintain water repellency, breathability, and prolongs the product's lifespan.

Product delivery
We receive goods at our central warehouse twice per week: on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Depending on the order submission time, goods are included in the corresponding delivery cycle:

- Delivery to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia is free of charge. Courier delivery to other EU countries: Poland €4.99, Germany €9.99, other EU countries €12.99. The final cost is shown at checkout before payment.
Returns

- Products can be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt.
- The returned item must be unused, with all tags attached and in the original packaging.
- Returns are free within Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. From other countries the return shipment is paid by the buyer.
- In Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, together with the notification about the delivered parcel you will receive a return code allowing you to return the item via any parcel locker.
