SoftShell with a membrane
A stretch softshell fabric with a 3-layer membrane: it keeps wind out and holds off spray and light rain from outside while letting body moisture evaporate, so you overheat less when active.
RIPSTOP reinforcements
A reinforced-weave fabric at the elbows, knees and seat stops tears from spreading and copes better with abrasion, the areas that wear most while riding.
Ergonomic racing cut
The cut is shaped to your body position at the handlebars, so your arms and legs stay free and the suit does not restrict you all day.
Ventilation elements
Improve airflow during active riding, so you overheat less in demanding conditions.
How it differs from ordinary gear
Care
Wash up to 30 °C with a dedicated membrane wash (Mountval Wash & Care), without softener or bleach: ordinary detergent clogs the membrane. When water stops beading, restore the water repellency (DWR) with an impregnator (Mountval Textile Shield). Dry naturally, not on a radiator or in the sun. Out of season store it dry and on a hanger, not compressed.

Is this suit waterproof?
The membrane is 3-layer with a water resistance of 7,000 mm (manufacturer data). That is enough for protection from spray, wind and light to moderate rain. For constant heavy rain, a higher-rated membrane suit is a better fit.
Does the fabric restrict movement at the handlebars?
It does not. This is a stretch softshell with an ergonomic, racing cut, so your arms and legs stay free during active riding.
Why a one-piece suit instead of a jacket and pants?
A one-piece suit does not gap at the waist, so mud and wind cannot get through. It is convenient for fast, active off-road riding.
Where is the fabric reinforced?
RIPSTOP reinforcements are at the elbows, knees and seat, the areas most exposed to abrasion while riding, so the suit lasts longer.
Does it ventilate?

Choosing the correct FINNTRAIL suit size ensures comfort, freedom of movement, effective layering and proper protection from weather conditions. Measure Your Chest Girth
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the measuring tape horizontal. Stand straight and keep the tape close to the body, but not tight.
How to measure: measure around the widest part of your chest while breathing naturally and keeping your body relaxed.This measurement is especially important when choosing jackets and the upper part of a suit.
Measure Your Waist and Hips
Measure your waist at the narrowest part or where you usually wear your pants. Measure your hips around the widest part.
Important: do not pull in your stomach and do not tighten the measuring tape too much. The gear should leave enough room for movement, base layers and comfortable sitting.If you are choosing a suit or pants, hip and waist measurements are just as important as height.
Measure Inseam and Sleeve Length
Inseam is measured from the crotch to the inside of the ankle. Sleeve length helps determine whether the jacket sleeves will properly cover your arms during active movement.

If You Are Between Two Sizes
If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose according to how the gear will be used. Jackets and suits should leave enough room for base layers, while thermals should fit closer to the body without restricting movement.

- If you are choosing thermal clothing, the fit should be close but not tight.

Product Care Instructions
- Wash membrane clothing only with special detergents, such as Mountval Wash & Care, at a temperature no higher than 30 °C, without fabric softeners or bleach.
- After washing, restore water repellency using Mountval Waterproofing Refresher (wash-in) or a spray-on impregnation, following the product instructions.
- After impregnation, allow the product to dry naturally.
- Repair minor membrane damages with special glue, such as Aquaseal / Aquasure, only on clean and dry surfaces.
- Clean boots by hand, do not use a washing machine; if needed, use impregnation products designed for technical footwear.
Regular care helps maintain water repellency, breathability, and prolongs the product's lifespan.

- Delivery to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia is free of charge. Courier delivery to other EU countries: Poland €4.99, Germany €9.99, other EU countries €12.99. The final cost is shown at checkout before payment.
Returns

- Products can be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt.
- The returned item must be unused, with all tags attached and in the original packaging.
- Returns are free within Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. From other countries the return shipment is paid by the buyer.
- In Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, together with the notification about the delivered parcel you will receive a return code allowing you to return the item via any parcel locker.

Membrane fabric is usually described using two numbers, often separated by a slash: waterproofness and breathability. The first number indicates waterproofness, the second indicates breathability.

This is a sliding scale measured in mm that shows how high a column of water you can suspend over the membrane before it starts to let moisture through.
