Finntrail RANGER 50L Grey 1708 Backpack
A premium waterproof 50-litre backpack for expeditions and fishing, with 420D RIPSTOP fabric, welded seams and rich internal organisation. It is the best-equipped model in the Finntrail bag line. The backpack is made from 420D RIPSTOP fabric with a TPU coating, so it resists tearing, abrasion and moisture. Welded seams and IP66 protection let it float and withstand short submersions, so your gear stays dry on the water or in heavy rain. Inside there is a removable compartment you can use as a separate document pouch, while a waterproof outer pocket, reinforced side pockets for bottles and a key clip keep everything in place. Modular MOLLE straps let you attach extra kit, and a dedicated opening for a landing net is made for fishing. An ergonomic back system, breathable shoulder straps with a chest strap and a removable waist belt spread the load and keep the pack comfortable all day.

420D RIPSTOP with a TPU coating
The tough 420D RIPSTOP fabric with a TPU coating resists tearing, abrasion and moisture. The RIPSTOP grid stops a tear from spreading, so even a nick will not unravel the fabric, and the TPU coating keeps water out.
Waterproof build (IP66)
The welded seams have no needle holes, so water cannot seep through. The backpack meets IP66: it is waterproof, floats and withstands short submersions, so the contents stay dry on the water or in heavy rain. It is not diving equipment.
Removable compartment and internal organisation
You can use the removable inner compartment as a separate document pouch. A waterproof outer pocket, inner pockets, dividers and a key clip keep small items in place, and reinforced side pockets fit bottles.
MOLLE straps and landing-net opening
Modular MOLLE attachment straps let you fix extra kit to the pack: pouches, pockets or tools. The dedicated opening for a landing net is made for fishing, so the net is easy to carry along.

How it differs from a cheap backpack
Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth, rinse caked-on mud with clean water and do not machine wash. Dry it open at room temperature. Restore the water repellency with an impregnator (Mountval Textile Shield), especially on the bottom and the seams. Do not store it folded while damp, so the material and the seams last longer.

Can the backpack be submerged in water?
The backpack meets IP66: it is waterproof, floats and withstands short submersions, for example if it falls into the water or the boat floods. It is not diving equipment, so there is no need to keep it under water for long, but brief contact with water will not reach the contents.
What is the capacity?
The capacity is 50 litres, so it holds gear for a multi-day fishing trip or expedition, together with rich internal organisation.
How does the removable inner compartment work?
The inner compartment is removable, so you can use it as a separate waterproof pouch for documents or small items. When you do not need it, you put it back into the backpack.
What are the MOLLE straps and the landing-net opening?
MOLLE is a set of modular attachment straps on the outside of the pack, to which you attach extra kit: pouches, pockets, tools. The dedicated opening for a landing net is made for fishing, so you can carry or attach the net conveniently.

- Products can be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt.
- The returned item must be unused, with all tags attached and in the original packaging.
- Returns are free within Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. From other countries the return shipment is paid by the buyer.
- In Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, together with the notification about the delivered parcel you will receive a return code allowing you to return the item via any parcel locker.
