This is a high-level membrane: 20,000 mm withstands long rain and pressure, while 10,000 g/m²/24h means moisture escapes as you move, so you do not get wet from the inside.
2.5-layer construction
Lighter and less bulky than a three-layer build, so the jacket is easy to keep in your backpack all season, not only when you know it will rain.
Reinforced seat and knees
Those are the places trousers wear out fastest: sitting in a boat, kneeling or pushing through brush. The reinforcement extends the life of the garment.
Care
Wash up to 30 °C with a dedicated membrane wash (Mountval Wash & Care), without softener or bleach: ordinary detergent clogs the membrane. When water stops beading, restore the water repellency (DWR) with an impregnator (Mountval Textile Shield). Dry naturally, not on a radiator or in the sun. Out of season store it dry and on a hanger, not compressed.

Can they be worn under waders?
No, these are an outer layer. Under waders you wear a base layer; membrane trousers would be too bulky and would serve no purpose there.
Can they be worn without the jacket?
Yes. Wet often starts from below: wet grass and spray soak your legs before your torso.
What do the water resistance and breathability numbers mean?
Millimetres show the water column the fabric holds without letting water through: 10,000 mm is considered a good level for rain, while 20,000 mm already withstands long rain and pressure, for example when you sit on a wet surface. Grams per square metre per day show how much moisture the fabric releases from the inside. The higher the number, the less you sweat.
