A long membrane parka, 20,000 mm and 15,000 g/m²/24h. The longer cut covers the hips and upper thighs, so the parka protects more than an ordinary jacket. Breathability of 15,000 g/m²/24h is among the highest in our range.

High breathability
15,000 g/m²/24h is more than an ordinary membrane jacket offers. In practice it means you get less damp inside when walking fast.
Longer cut
The parka covers the hips, so it protects more than a waist-length jacket. That matters when you sit a lot or stand outdoors for long stretches.
20,000 mm
It withstands long rain and pressure, for example when you sit on a wet surface or carry a backpack on your shoulder.
Care
Wash up to 30 °C with a dedicated membrane wash (Mountval Wash & Care), without softener or bleach: ordinary detergent clogs the membrane. When water stops beading, restore the water repellency (DWR) with an impregnator (Mountval Textile Shield). Dry naturally, not on a radiator or in the sun. Out of season store it dry and on a hanger, not compressed.

Does the parka work in town?
Yes. The brown, longer cut reads as everyday clothing, while the membrane performs exactly as it does in technical jackets.
Is there a hood?

What do the water resistance and breathability numbers mean?
Millimetres show the water column the fabric holds without letting water through: 10,000 mm is considered a good level for rain, while 20,000 mm already withstands long rain and pressure, for example when you sit on a wet surface. Grams per square metre per day show how much moisture the fabric releases from the inside. The higher the number, the less you sweat.
