Balaclava Finntrail THERMOBALA Black 9728
A warm balaclava made to be worn under a helmet. It covers the head, neck and lower face, so neither wind nor snow reaches the collar. Thin at the crown so that it does not interfere with a helmet.
What it is for
Made for snowmobiling, off-road riding and winter fishing, when a helmet or hood leaves the neck and face unprotected.
- •For snowmobile and off-road riders, under a helmet.
- •For winter fishing when the wind picks up.
- •As extra protection under a hood.
Specifications
Type Balaclava, worn under a helmet Coverage Head, neck and lower face Colour Black Care Wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle Features
Works under a helmet
The balaclava is thin at the crown, so the helmet sits just as it does without it. Thick beanies do not fit under a helmet and press on the head.
No wind down the collar
A covered neck is what matters most: the cold usually gets under your clothing through the collar.
Care
Wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle with a detergent made for synthetic fabrics (Mountval Polar Wash). Skip the softener: it reduces stretch and moisture wicking. Odour, which sinks in fastest around the face and head, is handled by a rinse-cycle freshener (Mountval Silver Freshness). Dry flat, away from heaters and direct sun.
Frequently asked questions
Can it be worn without a helmet?
Yes, the balaclava can also be worn under a hood or on its own, as neck and face protection.
Is it hard to breathe in?
No, the face panel covers the mouth in a way that still lets air through. In hard frost it even helps, because the air you breathe in warms up a little.
What are the warranty and return terms?
