Which sunglasses should you take to the water or on a hike?
Finntrail sunglasses for the outdoors come in two kinds. How to choose
First think about where you will spend most of your time: by the water, in the snow or on the move in the wind. The polarised models differ in frame and purpose, while the goggles with a strap are for when you need protection from dust.

- •ATV riding through mud in polarised glasses. They have no strap, so on bumpy ground VISION 1093 or SKYLINE 1094 stay put more reliably.
- •Vision correction. Finntrail glasses do not come with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Are polarised glasses only for anglers?
No. PURSUIT 1090 is also made for active leisure, and SEAGULL 1091 can be worn in town. A polarised lens reduces glare off the water, so by a lake, on a jetty or in a boat your eyes tire more slowly.
Which glasses should I take on a winter trip in the snow?
SEAGULL 1091: its description states that it reduces reflections from snow and ice. If you will ride a snowmobile or an ATV in the wind, the VISION 1093 or SKYLINE 1094 goggles with a strap are the safer choice.
How does OFFSHORE 1092 differ from PURSUIT 1090?
The OFFSHORE 1092 frame wraps around your face and blocks light from the sides, and vents keep the lens from fogging. PURSUIT 1090 is a simpler shape of polarised glasses for everyday leisure and fishing.
Do VISION and SKYLINE have UV400 protection?
Their descriptions give no UV protection class, so we do not claim one. All three polarised models have UV400: OFFSHORE 1092, SEAGULL 1091 and PURSUIT 1090, while VISION and SKYLINE mainly protect against wind, dust and sand.
