Which goggles should you wear when riding a quad?
ATV goggles are for protection, not for looking good in the sun: an elastic strap holds them on your head. They sit close to your face and stop mud spray, sand and wind when you ride behind another quad or through puddles. The category has VISION 1093 with a clear or tinted lens and SKYLINE 1094 with a clear lens. The clear VISION suits most riders, because the forest is usually dim.

How to choose
Choose the lens by the light you ride in most often. For both models the manufacturer states a wide field of view and anti-fog properties, and places SKYLINE 1094 in a higher class.

- •Impact from stones or branches. The manufacturer states protection against dust, mud, sand and wind, but the specification lists no impact resistance.
- •Dusk with the BlackSmoke lens. A tinted lens hides holes and roots in the forest in the evening, so after dark ride with a clear one.
- •People who wear prescription glasses. The manufacturer does not state whether they fit under VISION or SKYLINE, so ask us before you buy.
Frequently asked questions
Clear or tinted lens for quad riding?
Clear for most riders: in the forest, on a cloudy day and in the evening it does not darken your view, and it stops mud and sand just as well. Choose the tinted VISION BlackSmoke if you ride in open country in bright sun.
Do the goggles slip on a bumpy track?
The adjustable elastic strap holds the goggles close to your face, so they do not fall off even when shaken. Tighten the strap so the goggles sit firmly without pressing on your nose.
Why do my goggles fog up when I stop after riding?
When you stop, your hot face and sweat warm the air under the lens, and there is no longer any wind to carry the moisture away. VISION and SKYLINE reduce fogging, but when you stand for a while it is worth lifting the goggles onto your helmet or forehead.
Is VISION compatible with a quad helmet?
Yes, VISION 1093 and SKYLINE 1094 are compatible with a helmet. Put the strap over the helmet and press the goggles against your face in the helmet opening, so no gap is left for dust.
