Finntrail OUTLANDER Khaki 7514 Rubber Boots
Waterproof rubber boots with neoprene, made for wet and muddy outdoors: your foot stays dry and the boot sits firmly on the calf. The rubber keeps water out, the neoprene hugs the calf, and the deep tread of the rubber outsole grips mud and wet grass. The lower part of the boot is reinforced where it rubs the most, and a wide heel loop lets you pull the boots on and off quickly.

How it differs from ordinary rubber boots
Care
After use, rinse off the mud with cold water and let the boots dry at room temperature or in a low-heat boot dryer. Don’t dry them on a radiator or in the sun: heat damages the rubber and the neoprene. Store them dry and upright, and don’t leave the shaft folded for long. A boot spray helps keep odour under control.

Yes. These are one-piece rubber boots with no drainage, so water cannot get inside and your foot stays dry. You can wade up to the top of the shaft; deeper than that you need waders.
Are the boots insulated? What season are they for?
Finntrail does not declare separate insulation for this article, so warmth comes mainly from your sock: in colder weather choose a thick wool one. The boots are made for wet and muddy outdoors, and for steady winter cold it is worth looking at the insulated Finntrail EDGE Graphite 7520.
Does the sole grip on mud and wet grass?
Yes. The rubber outsole with a deep universal tread bites into mud, wet grass and uneven terrain, so your step stays firm even on a slippery shoreline.
What size should I choose?
Rubber boots are worn with a sock, so choose your usual size, and if you always wear thick wool socks you can go one size up. For this article we currently have EU 42 and EU 46. If you are not sure, message us and we will help you pick.
What are these boots not suitable for?
They are not meant to be worn with neoprene stockingfoot waders: a rubber boot does not give the neoprene sock the protection it needs. They are not for wading deeper than the shaft, and they are not a specialised winter boot. For short jobs around the yard the lighter option is the Finntrail DECK CamoShadowBlack 7518.

Choosing the correct footwear size is important not only for comfort but also for safety. Boots that are too small may compress the foot, restrict circulation, and cause discomfort, while oversized footwear may reduce stability, create friction, and make walking in water or mud more difficult.

Measure Your Foot Length
Measure the length of your foot from the heel to the tip of your longest toe. It is recommended to take measurements in the evening, when feet are naturally slightly larger after daily activity.
How to measure: stand on a sheet of paper, mark the position of your heel and longest toe, then measure the distance between these points in centimeters.If one foot is slightly longer than the other, always use the measurement of the longer foot.

Wading boots are not ordinary everyday footwear. They are designed to be worn together with waders that feature neoprene stockingfeet. Therefore, the boot must provide sufficient space for both the neoprene stockingfoot and a medium-thickness sock.
Important: FINNTRAIL wading boots are already designed to account for the thickness of neoprene stockingfeet. There is no need to order a larger size than indicated by your actual foot length.Oversizing excessively may reduce foot support, decrease stability, and increase friction during walking.
When Should You Choose a Larger Size?
A larger size may be appropriate only in certain situations.
- If your foot length falls between two sizes.
- If you have particularly wide feet.
- If you plan to wear thicker thermal socks in cold weather.
