- •LIGHTSUIT 4614 on its own in hard frost. These are light rain trousers (12,000 mm) without insulation; in winter wear them only over warm layers.
- •Autumn fishing in a boat or in the rain. Insulated suits are too warm then; rain suits are a better fit.

Is NORDY 3757 enough for a whole day on the ice in hard frost?
The manufacturer rates NORDY 3757 down to −40 °C, making it the warmest suit in this group. How warm you feel also depends on the layers underneath: in severe cold wear thermal underwear and a fleece jumper under the suit.
Bib trousers or trousers for ice fishing?
Bib trousers. The braces and high back keep snow and wind out at the waist when you lean over the hole or kneel. All the bottoms in this group are bib trousers, except the light LIGHTSUIT 4614 trousers.
What are the snow gaiters on NORDY 3757 for?
The gaiters wrap around the boot and keep snow out of the trouser legs when you wade through deep snow on the ice or kneel by the hole. That way your legs stay dry longer and your boots do not fill with snow.
How do I choose the suit size with all my winter layers?
Try it on with the thermal underwear and fleece layer you will wear on the ice. The suit should let you squat freely by the hole without pressing on your knees. The measurement chart is in our size guide, and you can exchange one that does not fit within 30 days.
Is the BLIZZARD 3856 overall suitable for fishing too?
Yes, if you ride to the lake on a snowmobile: the one-piece BLIZZARD 3856 keeps snow out where a jacket and trousers meet. If you sit a lot and want to take your jacket off, a two-piece suit is more convenient.
