How should you dress for enduro riding on forest tracks?
The Finntrail OFF-ROAD collection brings together clothing for active off-road riding: on an enduro bike, buggy or UTV, when you stand on the footrests a lot, sweat and swallow dust. Here you will find the full kit, from socks to goggles. Most riders first need three things: a JERSEY shirt, stretchy ENDURO 4610 trousers and VISION 1093 goggles, while the rain suit rides along in the backpack.
How to choose, who it is not for, and FAQ
Who it is for
- •Enduro riders who ride standing up a lot on forest tracks: the body works hard, so the base layer has to release heat quickly.
- •Riders on dry, dusty gravel or sand: goggles with a strap stay put under a helmet, and the TUBE 9800 neck gaiter covers your nose and mouth.
- •Buggy and UTV drivers who need a one-piece garment with no gap at the waist: the STIG 1315 overall is made for that.
- •Those heading out for the whole day without knowing whether it will rain: a light rain suit packs down and fits in a backpack.
How to choose
Choose from the body outwards. First what removes heat, then a layer against wind and mud, and a rain shell only when the forecast is gloomy. Goggles and gloves are not accessories but part of your control.

- •Impact protection. There are currently no helmets or body armour in this collection, and the foam inserts at the knees of ENDURO 4610 trousers are not certified protection.
- •Fords where you stand in water. For that there is the ATV collection with waders.
- •Long rain in softshell clothing. Softshell is not waterproof, so for a downpour choose a rain suit.
Frequently asked questions
What should I wear under my enduro gear on a hot day?
One breathable layer: a Finntrail ATOM 1226 or GRAVITON 1227 shirt. Cotton soaks up sweat and stays wet, and then your back gets cold quickly when you stop in the forest.
Are the goggles compatible with a motocross helmet?
Yes, Finntrail VISION 1093 and SKYLINE 1094 goggles have an elastic strap and are helmet compatible. Put the strap over the helmet and tighten it so the goggles do not shift when riding through holes.
Which gloves should I choose for the enduro season?
In warm weather take light Finntrail ENDURO 2732 or ATOM 2842 gloves with a reinforced palm. In cool, damp weather the membrane GT 2790 with a leather palm is a better fit.
Do I need a rain suit if my trousers are softshell?
If the forecast shows rain all day, yes. Softshell repels spray and wind but soaks through over time, while the membrane RIDER suit goes on top and stays dry.
